Visit the cottage of Glätte-Kajsa

Visit a “backstuga”, a kind of house that was built by people who did not own any land.

The tour takes you through the forest up on the hillside, where Glätte-Kajse built a stone house.

The house is restored so we can really see how they lived, with many children in a small cottage

 without floor.

While we have coffee and a snack, we will listen to the stories about people who stayed, such as

Glätte-Kajsa and Carl Hansson Fast, a tenement soldier and about those who emigrated, as many

as 50% of the population in the area.

The tour starts at DivineCountry in Medbön, Krokstad parish.

The walk takes 20-30 minutes, the total tour about 2 hours.

SEK 120
Price includes coffee and snack
